I know you drop the TC to reduce the angle of the rear drive shaft, but what are the implications up front?
Seems you can't simply just drop the TC without having any effect on the motor, or anything else in the engine compartment, right? ------------------ Rob '01 Sienna TJ Sport "Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool."

Unless you are dropping it some 6" or better, there is no affect in the motor area. I suppose you could drop it enough that it might cause the fan to get into the shroud? The average drop is anywhere between a 1/4" and 2" (less being better since it keeps your break over clearance in a better light). Given where the motor mounts are, you are changing the long end of the lever, which results in a much smaller change on the short end.
