Icon313 Steering stiff

About a month ago i thought the steering was getting stiff but as i was going to fit a 2" lift and Skyjacker shocks i thought maybe this would change, well it didnt and i still have stiff steering where i feel i am forever correcting when driving, so i then fitted a Rough Country uprated stabaliser thinking this would help, no change. I was then told it could be the steering box so i tried to adjust but found the screw movement very limited,so now its back to the center position,in my mind thinking that its not causing any frictoin, but still stiff steering and correcting all the time, im now thinking of taking off the pitman arm to prove i have know probs with all the joints etc and then work backwards to box etc, pump maybe? has anyone come across this problem, the only other thing, i did put some additive in the pump pot which is supposed to help things, and that was before all of the above

You found your steering to be stiff, so you thought lifting it would fix it?? You could jsut go hit a few curbs, along that line of thinking..
The adjustment "nut" on top of the box is mroe for tightening the play up, than fixing a problem like you have, it seems that you are guessing at things...
It could be your pump that is not putting out the correct pressure, it could be the steering box, those would make sense.. Additives to the PS fluid are a big no no in the grands, and they almost all suck.. And a few of them could actually cause lousy steering feel, I would get rid of the fluid in there and put in the proper Mopar Steering Fluid.. Have you inspected all of your tie rod ends and balljoints, check for play, or binding in all of them..

Not that it matters too much for this but what year, and model, 2wd 4wd, hydro fan, V8???
