Boneyard Front D60 ( what vehicles to look under ?).

Hey all!

I have a 90 YJ and I want to ditch the D30 up front for a Dana60. What vehicles should I be looking under? Ford 350s.......

78-79 Ford F250HD or F350
86-96 Ford F350

These are hard to find.
I know of one in Kitchener for $1200 if you want it let me know. I doubt you will find cheaper for the Ford axle. I am buying a D300 (CDN$200) (passenger side front dshaft) and putting a D60 out of a Chevy 1 ton (CDN$675) into my TJ.

Look on Ebay. Almost every week someone list a ford front 60. I bought an RC housing off there. The price was so cheap that Im going to hack it up and make it into a rear axle.

If I only would have thought to look on Ebay before I bought my other front Dana60.... it cost me an enormous amount of money. I now regularly see them go on Ebay for a 1/3 of what I paid.
