Default 245/75-16 on stock suspension - question

O.k., from my research on here, I know that 245/75-16 tires will rub on my WJ with stock suspension. I currently have the 245/70-16 tires on.

Here's my question- I need new tires ASAP, but I'm ordering the BB online, and probably won't have it for a couple weeks or more.

Can I fit the 245/75-16 tires on there for a couple weeks, or will the rubbing be really bad? I'm assuming they rub on the front with full steering lock, or under suspension compression? Will the rears rub at all?

Thanks!

Jason

Default WJ or ZJ?

For the WJ -- as long as you aren't putting a lot of flex into the suspension you should be OK. Stay on the road and off the trails until you get the BB. Depending on the brand/style (MTs?) of 245/75/16, even with a BB you could get some minor rubbing at full flex. Rear rubbing can happen on the shock cans at full flex, but it depends on the shock you are using. My OMEs with 245/75/16 make contact with the rear shocks when stuffing the wheel/tire, but no big deal.
