Icon313 Definitive 265/75r16!

Some people are running 32's on BB lifts and some say not a good idea. I would like to run 32's in an AT tire. What I would like to know is who is running this set up and what kind of tires are they using and what trimming is needed (pics of trimming too). Also, what model (limited, laredo, v6, v8). I have searched all over a few forums but alot of info is left out.

I would get 265 rather than go for 32"

i have a 2.5" BB with 265/75R16 BFG A/T's on an 04 Special Edition V8. They rub a very little bit when i turn hard but not enough to where im gonna trim my bumpers. I dont offroad alot cuz my dad gets pissed but if your planning on offroading alot i would stick with the 31's

My idea of offroad will be getting to the trailhead and back and a bit of muddin now and then. I will not be doing any type of rock crawlin.
265/75r16 is equilvalent to 31.6ish or roughly a 32" tire

Nice looking truck by the way.

So big deal if you need to trim some... a simple utility knife will slice right through the bumper. If you really want to run the 32's on just the BB be ready to trim... Mallcrawler or not. A BB with UC springs will make things easier. or even the 3/4 inch spacers that kevin sells on top of the BB will give you the same height as the UC springs. Knock yourself out

For the 265/75R16 you need to have at least a 2" BB and UC suspension, or the normal suspension but a 2.5" bb.

You WILL rub off-road if you disconnect. You will rub sometimes even on road and off-road when connected.

TX WJ was the first on this board to run this set up. he found that having rims with a different offset, i.e. AR Teron's helped a LOT.

Even with the 4" Tera Flex lift you WILL RUB if you disconnect.

You really need to increas your bumpstop length to make sure you don't rub.

I'd recommend you get a 265/70R16 which is a wide 31" tire, then you won't have to worry with the 2" bb.

Cool tires

I ran 265/70/16 on a stock non uc 99, very minor rubbing in reverse or turn to lock

Trimming for rubbing does not bother me a bit. I just do not want to lose my foglights backing out of a driveway. I will not be rollin disco anytime soon. I also want to keep the factory wheels.

Maybe I am wrong but I thought the issue with a 32 was the width (265 and LCAs) and not so much the height.
