Bald Eagle hunting with the TJ
Kind of a vanity shot. It's not lifted (yet; that'll change when the tax return returns!) but it gets us out into the wild. We went looking for Bald Eagles today in the Kentucky half of the Land Between the Lakes. We saw two. This one, a large male (?), sat in a tree right above us for a long time before finally taking flight and ruining the picture I was taking... :try2fly:

I was kinda being facetious about ruining the photo. Lucky shot! Didn't get any good closeups. Lens not powerful enough, and this one was up in a tree that still had leaves. Too many branches.
