deal or no deal

yeah i know there is an audio forum or whatever, but im more familiar with you guys.. just lookin for an opinion.. i went to a nearby store, they kinda owe me since they totally screwed up my steering wheel controls. i am looking to go with 2 12 inch infinity kappa perfect subs, boxed. priced at 549, on sale for 449 and he took it down to 425, and the infintiy 2 channel REF611A amp, priced at 424.99, he took it down to 379. does this sound like a decent deal?

Sounds ok, I try to get stuff off ebay usually cheeper but not really any warenty. If those are what you want Id get them, they should sound pretty clean, and loud.

Sound pretty good to me. I've never used infinity, i just feel theres better brands out there, but to each his own. Its a good price, your paying about ebay price, which is pretty dayum good.

crappy deal.. you could save a few hundred if you go to amazon.com and order everything from there.. maybe buy the box locally to save on shipping...

yeah.. i have to go with robzilla on this one though- im the guy who would rather spend more money and get a warranty and know that if anything goes wrong all i gotta do is go back. i actually bought my reference components and coaxils online (ebay) along with my 4 channel, i hope to god they never give me trouble.

I already look these parts up on ebay, he's paying the same price. If he were just to buy the subs it would only be $50 less... which is about the cost of a good box.

If you can get all the wiring and warrantys then jump on this deal.
