A buddy of mine has gotten a project frame with outboard springs for waggie axles. It also is setup for a shackel reversal. I am concerned about the shackle reversal. The shackle portion is not mounted in the center of the frame, but it is below the frame with a standard jeep shackle mount. This to me does not look right since the shackle is down pretty far and the springs seem to be pointing down more. How would you guys suggest doing a reversal with outboarded springs? Or should we just put it back to the normal way with the shackle in the front? I vote for the normal way, but my buddy wants to keep the reversal if possible. What sayeth you all??

i've never really been a fan of shackle reversals. i dont think they are necessary, and they seem to create more trouble than they are worth.
