Icon312 Checking Fuel Pressure 4.0L

Hello All,

This may be a dumb question, but is there a universal tool out there to check fuel pressure or do you need a special gauge set to test? Want to test fuel pressure at the rail.

TIA,
Krash

fuel pressure gauge is avail at most auto parts stores or at sears. mine is a snap-on gauge, most are pretty much universal. screws into the schrader valve on the rail.

Is there an extension sort of hose if I wanted to run a fuel pressure gauge inside so that I could monitor it under load?

thanks...

Jason

Icon312 Fuel Pressure guage = BAR-B-Q

Jason, you don't want a mechnical fuel pressure guage in the cockpit with you. If that bad boy were to spring a leak, you could be in big trouble, unless you have a flame proff suit.
