It helps to have several clamps or a few friends. Don't forget to shave down your body mounts. If you are planning on doing a body lift now is a good time to one in. That's what I did. It took my friens and I a few hours to do it. HTH.

Brett979,

I picked mine up from the warehouse in Denver. Cleaned, primed and painted them. I did not have to trim the body mounts and that was also what I was told by PS's man when I picked them up. My jeep is the Unlimited so it may be different with respect to body mount trimming than the SWB. I could not find a good jack point to lift just the body. I used my hydraulic floor jack and a stout piece of would to lift the side up as best I could and then used a sledge hammer to tap the sliders into place. I protected my new paint jop with a heavy rag but still had minor touch up required.

I also will be ordering PSC Rockers soon, and was wondering about the install. Do they give you pretty good instructions? To trim the body mounts, is that complicated? if you jack up on the rockers with a piece of wood, how do you then get the rocker guards in place with the wood in the way? I hear they come unpainted, and i need them complete and in place by december, but dont want to spend alot to paint them. What are some other options? thanks for the info...

If you got time get them powdercoated. Its a lot easier and lasts longer. Get a piece of 4x4 to put inbetween the tub and your jack went lifting the tub. You dont have to trim the body mount. I did but I have friends who didnt. A box cutter will work, belt sander, or a sawzall. Get some good rocker gaskets also. If there are any of those nutserts in the way like the ones for the rubi stock rockers, get rid of them or they wont sit flush. I put an extra bolt in mine inbetween the forward two holes b/c my tub was a little tweeked. I also used some 1/8 " aluminum plates as washers on the inside of the tub to pull the rockers tight against the tub. When I just used the supplied hardware the washers pulled the tub a little towards the rockers. Again the tub isnt perfectly straight.
