Anyone know where I can find a complete front end rubber rebuild kit online?

I assume you mean rubber bushings? never seen a kit before and the bushings alone are wicked expensive from dealer.

That's why I'm trying to find rubber OE replacements.

have you attempted to contact your local stealership?

I would imagine they would have a "kit" of some sorts. I am also interested in doing mine as well.

Please let us know what you find out.

I have to wonder if any of these people who rail against poly being too harsh, have ever used it?

not in my rig! but my buddy's MJ had them in the front end. may have been my imagination, but GAWD the ride was harsh!

and, from a post some time back, there were several people who posted similar experiences in their rigs, and I was passing that info along as well.

I have em and I noticed they are way harsher than the old rubber bushings.........I did see a blurb on speed channel about the "new" energy suspension replacement bushings having a more rubber like feel.

Was he by chance running lots of lift? Say 4" or more? <yes I know 4" isn't "lots" to some folks-- but I'm referring to control arm angles>

If so, that's where your harshness came from. Simple geometry.

I replaced the UCA bushings and I believe they were under 10 bucks a piece (2 years ago) from the dealer... new UCA's with bushings were only a couple of bucks more (should have just gone that way) as far as lowers you may be better off checking on RE's super ride LCA's (fixed) the ones that came with my 3.5" lift were the same length as stock and much more stout.

FWIW, changing the UCA bushings was a bit of a bi&*h due to the UCA design.......

On a related note... my front swaybar bushings... the center ones on the frame rails... are completely shot. They now have a 1/4" of slack in them, and the sway bar goes "CLUNK!" around every turn. Anyone know where I can get just those bushings? I'd actually prefer that they be poly...

Autozone. Had the same problem, and put the poly ones in from Autozone. They're greasable, and $17

Not a kit but its a start.LCA bushings, autozone #FB544 $6.99.UCA bushings, autozone #FB543 $6.99.These are the same as the factory ones I took out.Personally I will buy the whole arm if I ever need to do it again, from Quadratec I think it is that carries these for like $17 bushings already installed.
