Hey there. I have a little prob. I have a set of soft doors that I would like to use. The problem is the latch mechanism won't work. I have a 91 yj and I think the doors are for a cj. I bought the whole top and doors for a really good price so you take what you get. My question is: Is there something I could do to make this work? Is there a part I'm missing? Something I need to fabricate? Please let me know. If you need more info I'll ad it.
Thanks everyone Mario |

I had the same problem and found a set of handles for a YJ used pretty cheap, but the do sell the handles seperate but they are pretty expensive, some junkyard diving could help also.

You should find some old handles from a set of YJ doors like mariofontana said. this will probably be the only way to make it work. as you can see on your soft doors the handles should just unscrew and then you can just throw in the new ones.

I had that problem, but I found a better solution to be just using some CJ strikers...take the YJ striker out, add CJ strikers, and boom
