Wanting to buy a decent MIG and have no idea what to look for. I don't need anything real fancy and realize for what I am wanting to spend it won't be. I would like to stay under a grand, more like 5-6 hundred range. Basically just a decent gas induced wire welder to replace the easy mig I have now, what would you recommend? I have been looking at the Hobart handler 135 and 175.
What kind do you have, do you like it, how much did it cost and where did you get it? Thanks

I LOVE my handler 135. great starter machine. The only reason I bought the 135 and not the 175 was because at the time I didn't have 220 access. If you have 220 i'd go with the 175. They're great little machines, in my opinion.
