Welll Just got back..
Only ran 2x's R/T....1.064 60'....2.145 330....6.211 1/8....9.579 MPH....72.87 1000....12.522 1/4....15.005 MPH....90.306 This was with a Mopart Perf. ECU, however it was installed RIGHT before I went to track..Some say it needs a few hundred miles to "settle in" How true is that...im not sure. Also with my 255/65/R16 tires, Im sure that is not helping over the stock tire. Last time I was at the track I got a 14.999 1/4 mile.... Yet not to mention my reaction time sucked the big one! anyone figure out my 0 - 60 times??? Dino, you have a program right?? Thanks! Mike

My guess is that with more miles, you're times will improve. Try the speedfreaks forum for a faster response though!

Oh yeah...trust me it gets better! The ECU makes it really fun to feel the acceleration in 4th with the converter locked
Just let the thing learn and you wont be disapointed.

When did you put in the chip? What track did you go to? What it hard to do?

You will definitely get better times once your ECU adapts to the inputs from the engine. Your 60' time is about 0.1sec slower than usual and that's why you didn't get into the 14's this time. Your 0-60 from that run was about 6.4secs.

Put the chip in yesterday right before we went to the track, Its BT's ECU that Im borrowing. Its super easy to put in, just 3 pulgs, and 3 screws. Only thin you have to remove is the Coolant overflow tank back there...it sits right behind it. We went to the Bradenton speedway, they have it open Every thursday for Test & Tune they call it. Maybe go again soon to see if the chip does actually settle in!!?? Thanks for the info Dino ![]() Mike
