Question Tweeter Replacement

The left tweeter for my Infinity Gold on my 2000 Grand Cherokee located on the dash seems to be blown. I was going to take it to the Jeep dealership and have them replace it, until I found out that they were going to charge me $180 for the speaker alone, with installation fees on top of that. I decided to call a few audio installation shops and received some advice. I was told to forget about Jeep, go to a flea market and buy some cheap tweeters, and replace them myself. I was wondering which tweeters would be best to use. I also am not exactly sure how to install them since I have never done it before. I believe that the dash will come up and I can access the tweeters, but what exactly are the steps for removing/installing? Thank you.

Just picked up these for my WJ http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...389572258&rd=1 . Fellow JU Milous's intall instructions are here http://www.wjjeeps.com/jlaudio.htm I haven't installed them yet but seem very straight forward.

Those speakers look good to me. I don't really need anything special. One question though. Only the left tweeter is blown. Should I just buy one of the JL's to replace it, or should I buy two and replace the right tweeter as well? Would it work with two different tweeters, and if it would, would any sound quality be sacrificed? Thanks again.

Definity replace both, the difference is amazing...really. I just got these in the mail today and swapped them in this afternoon. I had the new one in the drivers side and the stock in passenger side. The JL's are so much brighter. Very sharp. You could tell they were 2 different speakers. Do what Milous did on the WJParts and installation is a simple.

Besides they are only $30 and I think only come in pairs. I ordered mine Sunday night and they arrived this afternoon. Pretty quick turnaround. If you go with these and have any install questions let me know, glad to help.
