Default BFW (Big F.... Wrench) question

What size wrench do I need to adjust the jamb nut on the RE LCA's. I'm thinking 1" or so..

It's much larger than 1 inch. It's closer to 2. I bought a damn adjustable wrench last weekend hoping to use it to adjust it, but I maxed it out.

Ditto. I couldn't find anything in my tools big enough, even adjustable crescent's, so I just bought a pipe wrench. I know for a fact they're bigger than 1".

yep, way bigger than 1" maybe 1.5" i started looking for wrenches and gave up. The biggest the local place had wasn't big enough. i found crescent wrenches big enough but they were 80 bucks, a pipe wrench will work just fine. If yours are rusted on like mine were, getting them off will be a bitch. I put antiseize on them when i retightened them.
