Default Moab wheels

I own a Jeep (Cherokee/Liberty) 2006 crd limited aut.

The previous owner fitted it with 20 inch rims and 275/40 tires and lost the original 17 inch wheels.

I would like to change the wheels and I am considering the 16 inch mopar moab wheel (product no 82208904).

I have seen pictures of KJ’s with the moab wheels, but do they fit without any changes / lift e.g.?

Yes they fit with zero changes.

The wheels themselves are 16" tall. As long as you put a small enough tire on them, you won't have to change anything. I think the largest size tire you could use comfortably would be 235/75R16.

Thanks :-) I will go ahead and order them.

The local Jeep-dealer couldn't answer the question without ordering the wheels. I didn't want to take that risk - as 4 wheels without tires will cost me aprox. USD 2,350 - Danish customs duty and VAT :-(

235/75/16 sounds just right - I am looking at the Cooper Discoverer M+S

Wow that's alot seeing as how you can get a pre-owned set of five Moabs for around $450-600 USD here in the states.

The Cooper tires sound like a good choice, I've always had good luck with Coopers! Good luck and be sure to post photos when you get it all together!

Wow, that looks 100x better!!

I had the same problem when I bught my Firebird. I loved the car, but it had these hideous aftermarket wheels on it that I couldn't wait to get rid of.

Hate to say it, but I liked the before better only as far as looks are concerned. The 16 inch wheels just look too small. Obviously, the after set will perform better in off road conditions.
