    Default Replacement Rollover Valve Found!

Sometimes we get lucky and luck it is! Last month, someone on another Jeep forum posted in a Thread about finding the elusive fuel Rollover Valve that are not available from the Jeep dealer anymore. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showt...01#post6739901

Well, I gambled and ordered 2 and received them today for $5.95 ea + shipping for a total of $19.82 to my door. They are just like the originals from Jeep except made of plastic so they won't rust. Screw mounting pattern are the same as OEM so they are 100% bolt on. Guys, these are not going to last long so get them while you can and I see that the price has already increased another $4.00 since I ordered them.

They can be found here from DeLorean Motor Company part supplier: http://www.delorean.com/store/p-6703...ver-valve.aspx

    Here's some pics:

I took mine off and apart when restoring for cleaning and they were in good shape. I noticed later, I had forgot to re-install the float. Guess I need to do that huh? Just don't roll over.
It's funny, you get the jeep all back together and have this float thing left over and you stand there for a long time wondering where the heck does this thing go? :jpshakehead:

Yeah, was going to take my old one apart also to fix the rusted hose barb on it and then powder coat it afterwards. But, finding these nice little gems on the internet that are NOS and plastic kinda defeats the purpose.

I've searched for these damn things forever.

Good source for a backup but these little gems from DeLorean Motor Company parts supplier is the cats *ss as they say. Still can't believe how well they fit in the OEM location without alterations of any sort.

Here's what you should end up with when it's all mounted:

Was just fixing to ask that also weapon. I think they are installed on top of tank. I dropped my tank a couple of times several weeks ago and didn't have any of the setup that Keith illustrates so well.

Is the liquid check valve still easily sourced? I think both valves were destroyed on mine when I did my tub swap, so I didn't put anything in... BIG mistake-- first time I parked on a steep downhill on a trail, it was only a matter of minutes before gas was literally pouring out of my charcoal canister...
75 years and 350,000 miles of fun:

1983 CJ-7 No maintenance, just mods

1998 M3/4/5 No mods, just maintenance

1983 R65LS No intention of modding it, don't know how to maintain it

This guy - George - now sells both valves combined and it looks like the bottom one. It's best to call him if you're interested.
