    Default Jeep graveyards

I need to find an egr & steering stabilizer mounting brackets.
I'm always crawling through junkyards (male equivilant of going to the mall I guess)
What state / country do you live in where there is a Jeep graveyard / boneyard / junkyard?

    I know of one in Chesapeake VA near the high rise bridge on 64;
I've also heard of one in Florida & will be there next week, would love to visit it if anyone know's its whereabouts..

come on share with us ..

(not sure if this is truely technical, I tried plus it's slow in here today..)

There is a Jeeps-only yard near my house (about 10 miles) called Jeeps Unlimited. They do stock a lot of Jeeps and parts, but they sometimes ask a bit much for their parts IMO. They do ship parts-

This certainly isn't Houston, but here in Austin we have Southside:
    Southside Jeep Parts
5800 Lockhart Highway, Austin, TX 78744
    (512) 385-3174

Pretty good yard, I think the owner's name is Rick. I got my 4.0L motor from him, and was happy to deal with him. His prices are a little higher than what I've heard for similar parts, but I'll tell you what, he went out of his way to provide a good motor. It was worth it.

BTW, I've no other connection with him other than as a customer.

The biggest jeep graveyard I know about is in Palatka, FL. There is a parts/work yard and down the road is the boneyard.

George Rensell owns the place 1-386-325-3400.

I'm probably going down there Saturday morning to help him take some pictures of the place to help people get an idea of how much stuff he really has.

I have the stock stabilizer bracket for a 77 cj7. Its a piece of steel with a hole, ubolts to the steering bars, is that what you need? I saved it just cause it looked like a good piece of scrap to keep, if you want it its yours, just pay to ship it to where ever you are..

Try Jackson and Son in Talladega Al.

    http://www.jacksonandson.com/

They have a nice yard, I used to live in Columbus, MS and it was worth the ride to get parts. I still use them when I need a NOS part. Oh by the way they ship C.O.D
