A few friends and I are planning on attending a couple of Jamborees in PA and VT. I have a YJ and I was wondering if it would hurt anything if I drove up on my friends tire or some other obstacle and left the Jeep like that for a day or two. Would it hurt the suspension at all? Not a big deal really, just wondering.

Seen that very thing done over night with no ill effects. But why would you leave it that way for a couple of days? Aren't you takin it out on the trails?

I left mine flexed out for awhile (overnight and half a day) and got to asking myself the same question, especially since Rusty's springs are so soft. It has had no effect yet. I wouldn't do it regularily though.

hmm well I guess we'll see what happens then huh. The jamborees I am talking about are the 4Wheel Jamborees. They have alot more going on there than just Jeeps. Any 4 wheel drive vehicle is allowed in. A bunch of us are bringing our Jeeps so we wanted to get some kind of a display setup. Just for fun.
