I pulled my rear driveshaft yesterday and following some advice I made a plug for the output hole, I wedged a window washer fluid cap in there…well it was a little larger than the previous diameter of the seal, so I guess it stretched it out, so now it’s no longer tight on the slip yoke and leaking a little. Do you have to remove the tail cone? Hard to do? Lots of little parts? http://forums.jeepsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif
This is a YJ...

Not hard at all, it's the same as replacing a yoke seal on the axles. You just need one of them seal puller tools. But watchout I replaced my'n this sumemr and broke my tailcone. I forgot that it's aluminum not metal like and axle and could not handle too much leverage from a sealpuller. So I snapped off a chunk of it. So when you do it be very carefull and don't apply any force to the outside walls of the cone.
