Do the tops for YJ's require rounded corners upper doors/full doors or can you buy them to have pointed corners?
Does anyone have any pics of this top on a YJ with soft or hard uppers?
Can you access the space behind the seats with the top on or does the top go all the way to the floor?

first of all i would stay away from cal tops, as they have a very shadowed reputation for not being cooperative when it comes to returns, and the quality is less than what should be, with that said, i would recomend the "best top" outfit, i currently run it and it will work with both soft and hard corners fine, as the windjammer straps to the roll bar. this leaves an exposed area between the back of the door and the roll bar and can have a nasty draft when cold out. when it comes to access, the windjammer goes from the top of the roll bar to the floor with a little door to gain acess to the back.

I know about their rep, I'm just wanting to see pics and answers http://forums.jeepsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif. I'd like to have a fully enclosed top instead of exposed area so thats why I was looking at the pickup top instead of a 3 piece combo. Any suggestions?

i would think that you could get it with either type door. that was one of the things asked when i ordered my sprint top from him, b/c he made it both ways. i love my cal top, i have used it for two years now, and haven't had the slightest complaint about it, except where my mom was painting and got overspray all over the back of it, and my porsche.

It's not a YJ, but maybe I can help. Here's a photo of my caltop. http://www.workflowresults.com/jeep/caltop.jpg
(I'm also happy that many Jeepers are scared away from buying them ... I like my CalTop, quality has been fine, works great off road, seals up well, doesn't allow wind/rain in the "cab" ... and most of all, since everyone else is afraid to buy one, my Jeep has an extra unique look around town!) ;} As far as "room behind the seat" it is open below the tonneau area, but the "windjammer" section is on the back side of the roll bar, very close, if not touching, the front seat backs, FYI. There is nothing out there that I know of that seals the cab like the CalTop ... you can run it all year 'round! And, no, I have no affiliation with the manufacturer, whatsoever.

Yep, the sound bar is fine outside, has absolutely no problems with the wet weather. However, you can't hear the speakers very well with everything closed up, but you can hear them. I had the option of moving the soundbar in the front cab part, but decided not to do it. I was a little unsure of head clearance, as well as the roll pads would need altering. Great question!

I dont have a soundbar but in my previous YJ I had it mounted in front of the bar instead of behind, worked great and no problems http://forums.jeepsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif

I had a TJ a year ago and I relocated the soundbar up front. Im 6 foot and had no clearance problem and I just placed the bar over the front padding. No Big deal. Do it , you'll like it better.
