When I did mine, the old hardware was pretty rusty, so I went down to Lowes and got some stainless steel nuts, bolts & washers. Nothing real fancy, just 1" bolts, some flat washers and some locking nuts.

Hi,
I reused the YJ hardware where I could...however, I went nuts with the cutting so in some places, the new holes went into a sheetmetal abyss where there was no way I could use the hardware. In those cases, I simply used a sheetmetal screw.
Good luck!

I used 1/4"x1" hex bolts & fender washers, and nylock nuts/fender washers on the back side. Worked great for me.

I used the stock YJ hardware, but the TJ flares have more mounting holes, so you will have to use something else in addition.
