transmission woes....

Seems that DCX never really worked the bugs out of the transmissions in their Grand Cherokee.
32 of them have engaged themselves into the reverse gear....without any help from the owners!
Say....isn't this the same tranny that was put into the Liberty (without any fixes)??

Wrong.

Read the attached release. It specifically states that the problems are limited to 1995 thru 1999 models of the Grand Cherokee. GC models since 1999 have a new type of transmission, which is also being used in the Liberty.
