My 1991 YJ 4.0L keeps stalling when I come to a stop. It ran fine until I put in a JB yoke slip and a 2" body lift. I've changed the fuel filter, cap, rotor, and the plugs and it's still doing it. Anybody have any ideals?

I had a stalling problem on my 89 with the 2.5 Mine would stall on start up, and while driving. I replaced the CPS (Crankshaft Position Sensor) and it fixed the problem. I let it run for four hours after replacing it and it does fine now. The part was 35.00, so it might be worth it. Also check other sensors. If you can get that machine to hook up to it, then it would tell you for sure. Good luck

Make sure you have the speed sensor hooked up. You would have disconected it when putting in the SYE. It is where the speedo port is. Is the speedo working correctly? Check the engine codes it will tell you if it is loosing signal. I bet this is the problem.
