I have a 94 sahara yj I6 with a re soa and 33x12.5 mtrs and stock repacement springs. the thing is getting really stiff riding and i was wondering whose springs ride the best? and what about a shackle reversal? I just need springs no hardware thats all ok. the springs I have now are re s2502 stock replacements. I not sure if i want tolift it higher. I'd like it to ride better.Ha HA ha

no not right now but it is looking preety badass I should get to posting some pics.
Anyone got any answers to my q's????????????
If you want stock springs I think you're stuck with OEM or aftermarket like you have, unles you want National to make a custom set for you at a premium. I have OME springs and find that they ride MUCH better on and off-road, but they do lift ~2.5" so you'll go higher.
Shackle reversal usually lifts the front from 1-1.5". And the MORE unit requires a longer slip yoke on the front drive shaft because they move the axle forward. I don't know about the other shackle reversals out there. And it should improve ride some - perhaps someone else can answer this more specifically, I only know from reading and researching this future mod.

BTW - how old are your RE replacement stock springs? Maybe you need to just loosen them up a little bit ... the clamps and also by flexing them.

I have some RE 2.5" springs that are sagged out (like 1" lift or so) http://forums.jeepsunlimited.com/forums/images/ubb/biggrin.gif
But like he said OME is good. Or you can see if there is an Add A Leaf option for your springs.
I would not use lift shackels on a SOA YJ. I did see a guy who was Shackel Reversaled though. And soa. It looked like it worked good as long as it is done right.
Let me know

Try Alcan in Colorado.
They make a very nice/soft spring.

What you realy need are my old springs, you talk about soft. They have 160,000 miles on them...way soft! Just come get them out of my garage.

I'm VERY happy with my Old Man Emu 2.5" lift springs (over the axle), and M.O.R.E. shackle reversal. The ride quality is second to none and the springs have held up to all of the abuses that I can throw at them.
I ditched the stock springs after a year cause they went way-flat and rode crappy. I have ridden in YJ's with the Rubicon springs, Alcan and National, and none of them came close to the ride quality of the OME springs.
