Hey does anyone know if a stock swaybar/links well work with 4" springs. I need it for a trip to Jersey and am looking for a cheap temporary fix. It seems like if got a couple spacers and dropped the whole bar down with the pitman arm barely misses it(Probably not the best idea). Or is there a cheap way to make links without a welder. All advice helps thanx

I think we need to know more about the trip. Is this a road trip with out wheelin, or is this a trip just for wheelin? If its just for wheelin then take them off and leave them off for the trip. If its a mixed trip drive there with them on then take them off before the trail and put them back on for the drive home.

If you haven't made the trip yet then this post might matter. Yes I think you can make the 24 hour trip with out them. But you will need to be careful with sudden movements left right or left because your jeep is going to have more roll to it. If you have the time run to your local 4wd store and purchase a set of quick disconnect sway bars and throw them on. It will cost you 40-70$ and take about 30min to 1hr to put them on. You can make it with out them but would be much safer with them.
