Just purchased my second Jeep, an 01 V8 limited and of course it has a few gremlins.. It failed MD inspection for a few items including the dash "BRAKE" light not eliminating when the hand brake is pulled.
Here is what I know: When you insert the key and turn it all the lights on the instrument cluster eliminate including the “BRAKE” light, so I know the bulb isn’t burned out. I do know the blend box was recently replaced and was leaning toward pulling the center console out and checking the connection to the switch on the hand brake. Are there any relays to check/replace or any other ideas.
