gas tank question

my 1988 yj with a 4.2l has a 20 gal plastic tank that dosent seem to easy to get . Is there a different tank that will fit in there and if so does it use the same sending unit. Also if any one has the 20 gal one for sell please let me know thanks for any help

Have you looked at JC Whitney, and 4WD hardware. They carry brand new tanks of all makes and models.

They are all the same tank with a diff filler hose. There is no diff between the smaller and larger tank.

You can use either tank. If your jeep was originally 15 and you use the 20
you will have more gas then the gauge shows. More in reserve
