Namely their 'extreme duty' kit. My jeep has the 4.2 engine with everything bone stock and I think that some new parts are due.

But on their ordering page its got 4 different options of shocks:

RE Mono-tube, RE Twin-tube, DT3000, and finally OME.

Who has either of these shocks, and what do you like/dislike? I'm looking for an all around middle range shock that isn't too hard or too soft, and will not die 4 months down the road.

Thanks in advance!

I prefer the monotubes.

I've run both RE's, DT3000's, and OME's on a pickup truck years ago.

I personally prefer the Doestch Prerunner shocks (I think they're the DT8000 series). The shafts are thicker than the DT3000 and they have built-in bumpstops on the shafts.

I would compare prices on all of them and get the cheapest ones. They're all pretty good.
