SkyJacker 4" Standard

Just a question for whoever wants to add there 2 Cents.

I'm going to be installing a 4" skyjacker Standard kit in my 2k TJ. Just wondering if anyone has any heads up for me.

It is a really straight forward kit just set aside a day to do it...you might want to put something on your stock bolts or else they are a pain to get off.

Ok, cool.

Also, I was thinking of putting in a 1" body along with it (Want a lot of wheel travel for the 35's.) Is this going to cause troubles with my shifter or anythign else?

I just put one on a buddy's jeep, and had one problem. The transfer case shifter linkage or shift pivot drop, whatever it is called, was a bit of a pain. The way they had it set put the heads of the bolts right in the way of the line of travel. I ended up grinding down the bolt heads, almost making them into carriage bolt heads. This was on a '01 wrangler. Also make sure your drill bits are sharp, it sucks when they aren't.

If you wanna run 35's get a 2" body lift...I had a 1" with my standard Skyjacker and my 35's rubbed my flares offroad, so I put a 2" on the other day now they fit perfectly. As for your shifter I had mine lengthened about 2" so that is was back to stock height.
