I have seen some black headlights for sale and was wondering if anyone has used these before. Wondering if they are as bright as the clear ones or if they are any different at all. They have the clear lense but the background that the bulb reflects off of is black. I think they would look pretty good as long as they are not dull.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/87-95-JEEP-WRANGLER-BLK-SQUARE-DIAMOND-HEADLIGHTS-H6054_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33710QQihZ022QQit emZ350060392457QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

Bet it would look good but my guess would be that they would loose some brightness If you like the look give it a shot there not that expensive. Check out the feedbacks and email someone that bought a pair and ask them how they like them......

Yeah I just ordered them yesterday. I will post some pics of them when I get them istalled. I went with the black projector headlights though so they will look a little different than the ones of the OP. You can check them out on ebay. I think they look pretty cool. We'll have to see how good they shine

I got the black headlights. They look pretty good but they are very dim. If you drive at night alot or in areas without a lot of street lights i would suggest not getting them. But if you dont then get them i've had a few people ask me about them already. Will post some pics soon.

Just my opinion but they look like snake oil bling to me.

Actually the fog lights have helped me significantly when out at night or in the snow. Fender flares are a legal requirement in most places. But you're right, there's a lot of crap we put on our jeeps that's of no use except perhaps cosmetically speaking.

What's wrong with functionality and "bling"? I like lookin sharp and bein able to make it home at the end of the day. Different strokes for different folks! I don't like the black headlight idea either, but why dis them? Also, do you have a Darl in your family?

I look at this as "bling" as they don't appear to really help in the performance department but are more for show. I really don't worry all that much what my jeep looks like as long as it gets me where I want to go and back. I have a hard time with chrome too if you couldn't tell :) But I also respect that many out there put more value on looks so to each their own. And no Darl in the family that I'm aware of. Pretty small family at least here in NM.
