Replacing the weather stripping around the windshield

I have a sizeable crack in the weather stripping around my windshield and was wondering just how hard it is to replace this myself? I'm a little bit worried about getting the old strip out and not being able to get a new one in correctly. Does anyone have any experience with this?

do you mean the strip on the outside? if so,you can just pull it out and clean it very well. removing any sealant on the glass. then use a glass and windshield sealant to reinstall it. i bought stuff from advanced auto.
