I am planning on putting a 92 4.0 in my 90 yj that had a 2.5. As soon as it warms up here (-40)
Wondering if someone has done the same swap?
Also wondering if since they only came with 4.2's that would be a problem?
I am somewhat mechanically inclined, but thought someone might help me out with things that i might run into.
I have the engine, tranny, t-case all the wiring with computer, rad, exhaust, motor mounts. a few things i've seen so far are the computer in my 90 is under the dash and the doner fits on firewall in the engine compartment, can i just leave the old one in? i'm sure i will have alot more questions when i actually start, but thought i might get some headsup info before.
