Should I purchase or what should I look out for? Hello all! I'm new to this forum and wanted to know if this is worth the price. I have the chance to purchase a 91 Red Renegade (one with body flare package) I6,FI,5spd 4x4, air,cruise,tilt. It has 117,000 miles on it 3 owners, runs,drives and shifts nice, fairly good tires and the rims look great (no curb rash). It does have a spare with full size matching rim with cover (looks as new - original spare tire). Nice full fabric/vinyl top and clear windows. Seats,dash,sound bar etc. no rips or tears, just faded but carpet could be replaced. Exterior paint is faded (buffing would bring it back), no rust at all (top or underside/inside), no dings/dents/scratches/pealing. All decals look good and complete. The present owner keeps it in the garage when not in use and has rarely driven it in the 4-5 yrs. It originated from Florida and went to Kentucky and now Indiana. He will take $3,800. but wanted more. Is this worth that for something to drive/have fun with and trun later for $$???? Never owned a Jeep and have no idea but have read alot and maybe this is a 50yr anniversary model, since 91 was 50yr mark????
