I did a search but did not come up with anything easily. Anyone have a writeup on replacing the front axle shaft U joint. I tried it once before but the hub thingy was stuck to the other thingy, I took it to the garage and they said it took them a while to separate them,

Thanks

I just saw a thread about this on here a few weeks ago. Never done it, but it didn't look that tough.

I thought my pass side bearing/hub assembly was never going to come off. Driver side went nice and easy, though. The pass. side, we tried using a 3-jaw gear puller, which got it started enough that we could remove the axle shaft, u-joint, spindle, and hub/bearing assy together. Once it was all out, a short drop on the garage floor was enough to knock the hub off the spindle. Putting it back together was pretty easy.
Just make sure you bang up the axle oil seals when you're in there. It's rather easy to do on the pass side with that wonderful short shaft. A pry bar in the steering knuckle to support the shaft is most useful. (This is the voice of experience speaking.)

Good luck!
