Soft top fron bar mounts

Both female brackets which are attached to the windshield frame broke off. Anyone have any ideas of how I can fix them? I think the metal is too thin to weld and I dont have a welder I was wondering If I could fab up a bracket and use the torx bolt there to atttach it .

Don't fix them. Replace them. Bestop sells individual pieces if you call them.

Are you sure they were small parts that were attached. If I replace them how would I attach them? Im talking about the female bracket part the front bars get attached to

OH! I thought you were talking about the front lip. It's just a bent plate with holes cut in it for the screws. The base plate is the same size as the plate for the front bars. That little tab is the only part you can really see when it's installed. If you had a good original, you could make some new ones out of sheet steel. I'd still just get new ones. They can't be that much money.
