I have a 91 YJ with a 2.5. I am getting a half built 91 YJ with a 4.0L engine. Will all my gauges work from the 2.5? Could i swap pretty much everything besides the computer? What about the gas tank, I will probaly need a new fuel pump right because the pressure will be different? What other things might be different when swapping parts? The 4.0 has a complete working drivetrain, just needs a whole interior (whole dash for sure), and a few exterior parts to be complete.

Here's a few links you may want to take a look at.
I could go on & on, typing all sorts of stuff, but you reading thru these links would be much better for my fingers I would think. ;)
http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=YJ+2.5L+to+4.0L+conversion&fr=yfp-t-468&toggle=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF-8
Or at a minimum this one:

Tranny, tcase, radiator etc etc etc you will probably want to address too.

Full drivetrain man (5spd and T-Case included on this chassis) it basically has no dash, no rad.
The reason im doing the swap is because my Jeep YJ was T-boned in a parking lot and i cant afford collision so I only had liability, and since a parking lot in Ontario is basically no mans land im screwed for money. This half jeep is cheap and i figured most of my parts could easily swap over except for a few.
EDIT: Forgot to say thanks for the links though it did answer my question of using my existing fuel pump and tank and it says I can!

Your 2.5L tach won't read correct on the 4.0L
I doubt there's much else that's going to be different

unless there is a change between 91 and 94 my 94 jeep with 2.5L took a 4.0L computer and harness (outside the jeep) fine.. i unplugged one and plugged in the other and it all worked.. no problems with tach etc.
