rear bumper question

Are the measurments for a CJ rear mounting surface (the distace between the holes on the rear cross member) the same as a YJ? In other words, could I use a CJ bumper on a YJ with out any modifications? Thanks

I've never tried, but quite a few YJ part numbers are the same for CJ in my Quadratec catalog...
