I am ordering my cv driveshaft and installing the 8.8 Do I need to have the yoke adapter balanced with the drive shaft?
I havent seen this topic in my search for the 8.8
Im trying to see how many people have gotten by without having the yoke adapter (companion flange) balanced.

of the 5 or 6 people i know who have swapped in 8.8's... they all took the adapter out of the box it came in and installed it. no balancing.

I've balanced the shaft with and without the adapter. I haven't noticed any difference. I have the shaft balanced with the adapter if I can because the adapter keeps the caps from falling off of the u-joints during transportation.
