Anyone have any experience with Wheelskins steering wheel repair kits?

My SJ, naturally, needs a new steering wheel cover. I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with the kits. I'm curious if I should just pay to have it professionally done. But if the kit looks decent, why pay more?
I've got nothing to go by... any info someone might have on this is appreciated!
