I have an 89 YJ that I am planning to install the Rough Country 4" lift on. I would like to hear from those who actually have this lift as to whether or not it was worth the purchase???
Thanks

I am running one, though I haven't really had any wheelin' time on it yet as I just installed it before winter and parked the jeep for the winter. I did go a bit though and it seems to flex very well. Installation went very smoothly as well.

They call it rough for a reason.

I put a 4" kit on my 91 YJ.. paid $429 on ebay
I thought it was pretty rough, so I put a 4" RE on my next 92 YJ... Paid $620 for that
$200 difference...
Worth it??? Um... yes, but not a HELL yes.
The rough country install went the same as the RE. Was a little more bouncy and a little less overall lift (1/2" less)
The RE comes with a steel rear brake like (better that extension bracket) And it comes with quick disconnect sway links.
The rough country has been improved and rides a little better than the older kits most down here.
I found it worth the money, the RE kit also worth the money.
Ride a little better with RE.
I grew to hate my YJ off road with the Rough counrty kit.
I can just about bare it with the RE kit.

Got RC in my '88 and my '94 & NO problem's. Not a "cushy" ride, but if I want a smoother ride, I can always drive the old woman's Grand Cherokee, I guess....
