Howz it goin' Tim? :)
I voted other because I mostly do rocks, but I also like scenic runs too which may or may not offer much difficulty. I rarely do mud - it's just too much work to clean things up and I prefer other driving types more.
hi joe!
i agree about mud. plenty of it here cause its unavoidable. the more wheeling i do, the more i want to see where i live more than i want to feel challanged in an extreme way. i live here, there for i want to see the land i live in, you know? :D im leaning more towards the expiditionary type wheeling. though, i'd love to be included in your jv newb run. i dont think my jeep is quite up to specs since i have an arb and a true-trac. but, you can bet i will be begging for a slot on that run when i get an arb up front as most of those guys on the run are people who i have looked up to in the jeeping community for some time now. or, i might be able to snag shotgun sometime. i would definitly fly down for that too. looks like you all had a great time this season.

Yep, I agree that in Pacnorwest mud is unavoidable. :yup:
Shotgun on the JV newb run is alot of fun too. I rode shotgun twice before I brought my pos to JV. In the mean time, I changed a few things so I'd be more apt to the challenges.
If you wish, you could always fly down to San Diego & hitch a ride with me. I almost always have an empty seat. Plus you could sleep in the comfort of a camper unless you wanted to pitch a tent. Flights are ~$245 right now from Seattle to San Diego depending on departure & return dates, so figure ~$300 for a trip here including food and firewood. Not bad for a lifetime of memories. :D
