Picked up a Maroon 1988 that I am reconditioning.
It is getting all of the following
Newer Black Hard Top
Newer Grey Interior
New Seats
Newer Windshield Frame (poor previous repair job on origional frame)
Might install newer Family Style Roll Cage
VORTEX BRAND SPRAY ON BEDLINER (Grey, Lime Green, or Black)
New Brakes
New Rotors
New Shoes
New Tires
She is going to drive this back and forth to work the rest of the winter to keep her 05 SE off the highway and out of the road salt and pea gravel they put down for the winter time then we will sell it.
I was considering doing some paint work on this Jeep before sale since it is in such good condition except for the dullness of the paint. A fresh coat would boost the resale value by over $1500 locally. I was considering a color block color scheme possibly including the factory maroon color, an accent color like lime green or amber fire or that ACURA orange color. I wanted to do the hood the accent color, Keep the TUB Maroon and Fenders Maroon, and do the tailgate and grille in Graintex Flat Black to minimize chipping paint chipping. If I do the paint work I will install TJ STYLE YJ FLARES and some cheap aftermarket HD rocker guards to finish off the bottom of the thing.
Anyone have suggestions or pictures on 2 tone Wrangler Color Schemes??
