Someone please help quick!!!

Just ordered a set of rugged ridge lift shackles for my yj..

Here is the problem, the spacer in between is too wide, when I go to tighten the spring eye bolts it bends the shackle, the spacer should be the same size as the spacers in the bushings correct? Please help!!!

Sounds right to me (spacers being the same, or very close to the same width).

If not, it would look sort of like this.... (-) instead of this...H

If I'm not mistaken - they should be the same width as your springs = 2.5" wide.

I've seen rigs with pinched in shackles like this... not much, but enough to see it. Must be shackles made in China. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I had that problem with mine, they were a little wider than my springs, but the shackles came with a few extra washers so I just put a washer between the shackle and the bushing
