I drive a 2.5 I-4 95 YJ and have noticed oil showing up in the air filter. Is this a huge problem or just a normal thing. Is there anything that can be done to fix this. Or is the engine almost done.

Make sure the PCV system is working properly, If so, close to time for a rebuild.

Shoot mines been doing that for awhile. And I put a new PCV thing on it. What exactly does it mean what is wrong with the engine?

I believe it's called "blow-by", and it's fairly common in older wranglers.
There are several topics on this, if you do a search, you should come up with a couple temporary solutions. I think the only permanent fix is an engine rebuild.

Well hopefully it can last 4yrs until college is over and I can get it rebuilt while I have another car.

You have a PCV ELBOW, not a valve. There isn't enough pressure for a valve. Your problem is a clogged fitting on the front of your valve cover, with a vacuum line hooked to it. Remove and clean the fitting and the oil problem should disappear. Mine was so clogged that I had to clean it with a hammer and awl.

I removed the hoses that come out of the valve cover. Cleaned those. Didn't help. Then I remved that (i think it was a copper colour) metal piece that is attached to the front hose that comes out of the valve cover. I took a hair pin (not mine) and used it to scrape out the gunk that had it cloged. Now there is no more oil in the air filter.
