My voltage regulator in the computer is no worky. Anyone ever install a ford external regulator on yj?. What wires go were?

The voltage regulator is in the alternator.

These years of yjs had the voltage reg in the computer. Instead of getting a new computer im thinking its easier to do a external one.

Use one from Mopar Trucks from 70-89 or so & most cars till 86ish
