The blower motor will not run on any speed. Checked the fuse in the block and it was okay. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. I have a 1995 Wrangler Rio Grande.
Thanks,

See if the wire is connected to the blower motor
has fallen off. IIRC it's a push on connector. It's
located in the engine compartment under the battery tray.
If it is, you may want to see if you have voltage going to that connector
when the blower should be running. If you have voltage then the motor is probably bad. If you have no voltage at that wire then there is an electrical problem in the power feed, blower switch or the blower motor resistor.

Thanks for your reply. I checked and could not see the connector under the battery. Inside on the passenger side, there is a connector on the heater case. Is that the connector for the blower motor? I took if off and put back on the still no motor. Haven't checked for volts yet.
Thanks again.

Not to sound stupid but the blower doesn't blow in vent position, only heat/defrost. (Don't ask how this was brought to my attention.)
This means there is probably another relay or switch in the circuit that may not be that obvious. Just something else to waste your time trying to find.

On the same topic... does anyone know where the blower motor resistors are located? My resistors must be shot, because it only runs on high.

There is a plug with wires on it attached to the heater housing
below the glove box kinda near the passengers door.
The plug has 3 or 4 wires on it.
Unplug the connector.
Remove the screws holding the thing that the connector was plugged onto from the heater / fan box assembly.
The "thing" is the blower motor resistor assembly.

Mine is the same way. It is my understanding that this is how it is suppossed to be. It just opens the vent from the cowl and letts air enter the cab according to how fast teh vehicle is moving. I may be wrong though....

Lol -- Mine does!! Actually, you are correct... this is the norm for most folks. If you are testing your blower motor, be certain the top lever on the controls is somwhere between "defrost" & "heat". On my 87, the blower always runs on any setting except for off. I think it just does that though, b/c it got wired up kind of funky due to a hurried repair on a COLD day!

Question on the motor itself - I am looking to buy the blazer motor, anybody know what years to buy that for at a local auto zone? 4wd has one they say is larger, but I think one for the blazer might be cheaper at a local place. Any info on this swap would be cool. Thanks

One more thing, thanks for the link first off, but does anyone have a diagram or something of the vent cable routing?? Mine came off and isn't hooked up anymore, but I would like to have it work again. Thanks a lot

I just fixed my friends 88 who's fan ran on any setting (off-def-heat-vent). If you've ever taken out the heater control panel, its a complicated mess of vaccum, cables, and wires. Theres a simple fix for a constant running fan. You'll find it easy enough.
