Big Problem

So my brother just got to his girlfriends house and the wrangler just started spilling out quarts of oil. It is coming from the oil pan or the oil filter. It is the 4cyl... any ideas what is wrong, anything other than a seal/gasket?

double oil filter gasket. did he change the oil recently?

Did the old gasket remain on the vehicle? They can come off.

Is the side of the block still there? Seriously, I've seen 4cyl's blow holes in the sides of the block.
