Rear shoulder belts for 89 wrangler

Anyone know what my options are for installing rear shoulder seat belts in a 89 wrangler? The bench seat and lap belt not very safe for a kid in a booster seat. Any such thing as a bucket seat with it's own shoulder belt maybe that could be mounted in place of the bench seat? Any information or suggestions would be appreciated.

I think you would have to swap your roll bar for a 92 or newer family style one. that will allow you to run shoulder belts in the rear.

It will work fine. I have an '89 with a '92 roll bar and it is OK.

the 92-95 roll bar? it shouldn't interfere, my 93's soft top goes down just fine. it came stock on all YJ's after they gov enstated the rear shoulder belt law.

If you look around a bit you can propably find someone to swap you even up. A lot of guys like the fast back style.
